What is the Interact Club of UWC Vestland?
This club offers something most student initiatives can't, a direct line into one of the world's largest civic networks.

Have you ever thought about starting a project but simply did not know where to start, who to contact, how to obtain funding, or how to follow through on that interesting idea of yours? This is precisely the problem that RCN's new Interact club aims to solve.
Interact is the youth section of Rotary International. Yes, it is the same organization that was responsible for wiping out polio and is currently active with more than 1.2 million members in virtually all countries, in clubs and projects. Through Interact, student projects have access to that whole network of contacts, mentors, and funding that usually takes years to build on your own.
Following months of talks between the Førde Rotary Club and the RCN Interact team, the club finally received the accreditation and became the newest member of the international Interact club family. And that means that the club is no longer just a committee, they are officially a club, complete with a global structure and a local mentorship!
What is Interact?
The main task of the club is to provide support for students who would like to create projects based on their ideas and make sure that they become reality, real initiatives that have some impact, visibility, and longevity to them. In simple terms, this club will help you formulate your goal and build a team for it, find relevant organizations to cooperate with, and other things which would be extremely difficult to achieve by yourself.
Why is this important in a UWC?
In general, UWC students arrive here full of energy and desire to do something important. The problem is, there usually is no proper infrastructure for turning those ideas into reality. With Interact, however, students will now have both a legitimate structure to work with and a local mentor.
