Why should every student learn how to build something?

Regarding the fact that school is not only about grades and evaluation but more about learning and getting various skills, it is now time for every student to start building. It is not about who can create the next rocket and launch it into space; it is more about applying knowledge that we are getting from school to real-world issues. After 10 years of schooling, are we able to create something that is solving an issue in our communities?

It is true that schools nowadays are more about building the foundation for adulthood by providing essential skills like reading, writing, understanding numbers, critical thinking and creating an environment for personal and interpersonal development, but beyond that it is important to foster students to build something. It might be a project about something they care about, a solution to a problem they have encountered or anything they are interested in.
The only fact of creating simulates the brain and makes people think outside the box.

Another factor to consider is how a builder contributes to their society. A student who learns to build very early is more likely to identify their community issues and solve them as soon as possible. That is how impact is made. Our societies should start focusing more on creation rather than excessive consumption.
